Smiles Over Miles is an expansion of an existing USO of North Carolina program that originally brought families of active duty service members to its center to record and mail DVD messages to their loved ones. Now, U.S. service members have an additional, simple and private way to connect with loved ones from anywhere in the world using the Privacy Data Systems' ePackage™.
The goal of the Smiles Over Miles program is to give all active duty military service members the opportunity to send video messages back home – easily from any computer with an internet connection and webcam. The technology also comes with built-in security, so messages are kept private and delivered via secure transmission.
Smiles Over Miles is an easy to use, private video messaging platform that brings loved ones close together across any distance.
